My Message to Commenter:
I need no thanks for acknowledging talent, I'm satisfied just knowing that comment might make someones day. I know my words can also make someone feel bad when I criticize, but know it's for the best. Just know this, I'm willing to debate whatever I say so long as there's a mutual feeling of respect. Cause, believe it or not, I respect any artist who puts their drawings up online even if my comment is less than favorable I don't act out of malice unless provoked, and I don't comment on what I don't like. Also Kudos to any Furry Artists I watch or comment on, cause I'm not really too fond of furry artwork. Also, I won't add anyone as a friend until I feel there's a faint bond or they add me. I don't think the tittle of friend should be taken for granted.
Oh and, I also have a Deviantart account.

Bewarned, I rarely comment on Deviantart cause I've heard too many bad things Deviantart. The community also doesn't seem like it's worth my time, also, the format for updates just bugs me. But yeah...
*rests* I know I'm only typing words, but writting moderately long comments on everyone I watch is hard. .__. Sorry if I don't leave a comment on your page after I watch you all. I'll get around to commenting on your works at one point or another.

Some people review games, others review my movies, me? I'll do books... and games. I may not be the most literate person around, but hey, Props where Props are Due. Also, Shameless Advertising when it involves something good.
Actually, I wonder why I'm even bothering giving props to the writer. This book already won the John Newberry Medal. Ah well, I still want to give my take on this book, and hopefully, get others to buy, read or at least comment on it. Sadly I've never reviewed books before, so yesh... I don't want to give spoilers so this is gonna be hard... Time to try and set up some structure...
[The First Sentence]
"So Mom got the postcard today. It says Congratulations in big curly letters, and at the very top is the address of Studio TV-15 on West, 58th Street. After three years of trying, she has actually made it. She's going to be a contestant, on the $20,000 Pyramid, which is hosted by Dick Clark"
I'll be completely honest, the only thing remotely good about that sentence is the mere style. Sure, it introduces us to the characters fairly quick and what's going to be a major plot-point. But... when I first red this, I mocked it.
[So what? She's going to get rich by the end?] I thought
Not really, but that's besides the point. The opening paragraph, doesn't really attracts you to read the story. It's the voice tone used that attracts you, or at least this was the case for me. Don't let the opening paragraph fool you, just keep on reading, cause this book is like music for your eyes if your eyes could hear music.
[Grammar and Punctuation]
I adore the way this woman wrote out this story, and I feel I learned alot from it. I red through 100 pages of this 197 page book PURELY cause I wanted to see how this woman wrote out this story. The context, the words, the symbols and style. I can't remember a simple phrase or sentence from this story at memory, but usually if a reader can just, read through it like I did, it means the writer's got skill and I ain't denying this story that.
The story's written in a first person perspective, we see what Miranda sees and how she interacts with the world at large. Though it's only in the middle that we realize that we're not reading what's happening, we're reading what happened. That doesn't change a darn thing though. But regardless of what the point of view is, Miranda's always a wonderful champ to follow around.
[Characters]
Considering the story's length, there's quite a few characters, and all of them are developed to a decent extent. All of them are likeable even if some are sort of cryptic. The main ones are however...
Miranda- The girl we follow around and the Protagonist to a decent extent
Sal- Our Main Protagonist,Miranda's best friend up till he was punched by Marcus at which point, things went awry. The whole story is focused on him essentially.
Marcus- The brainiac who punched Sal to prove his brother wrong. He's a math genious and serves a vital role in the plot, for the better or the worst.
Miranda's Mom- The one mentioned in the first paragraph and an important secondary character. She has an office job and is barely earning enough cause she had to stop studying to take care of Miranda.
Richard- Miranda's Mom's Boyfriend and the only MAN of the story. A guy who's an expert with knots and is overall sailorish. He's also referred to as Mr. Perfect most of the time. Much like Miranda's Mom, he's past of the supporting cast.
Julia- An antagonist at first, but by the end, we see a new side to her. She could be compared to the rival, and is at first seen as a Snobby Bitch Princess.
Annemarie- Julia's Best Friend up till they have a fight. She sort of plays the role of Sal for Julia in a sense. She's somewhat sick and alongside Colin, becomes a close friend to Miranda. Like Julia, she's wealthy
Jimmy- The owner of a sandwich shop which Miranda and her friends often visit and eventually get employed. Jimmy's only there to stir up certain things, but for the brief time ya know him. He's likeable, it's just that he's The Boss.
Colin- Miranda's third closest friend, a chatter-box that's sort of like a class-clown. Not much to say about him except, he's likeable. He just doesn't do alot...
I might have missed one character or another but I'll let those who read this book find them. Overall though, the cast is good and they all serve their purpose. I loved most of them and had a good time seeing their names pop-up, except Colin. Cause Class Clowns deserve nothing but the Silver Bullet.

...............Yeah...I'll finish this later....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah... I'm sorry for ending this journal so abruptly. But I lost inspiration to finish writing this, *bows* I promise this won't happen again. But till then I have a question..
What should I read now?
A)Flipped
B)War Horse
C)To Kill A Mockingbird
D)Wuthering Heights
E)Among the Impostors (Yes, I have the whole series of books)
No Problem, just mind me for not leaving you a comment. I hate using this excuse, but, I just couldn't. I wanted to close all my tabs on Google Chrome since I needed to start working on a project. So I had to just watch all the people who's pages I had up in tabs, close those tabs and later do my work. Chrome does Bookmarks differently, seeing as there is no Shortcut for the Bookmark manager, so I really couldn't open those pages back up and comment on them after I was done. *bows* So sorry for that.
When did I make myself seem like a respectable guy that has high expectations of people? o_O Less I remember wrong, I appretiate artists regardless of what skill level they are or what artist branch they follow. So long as they give good art. I doubt you're a furry either, so my dislike for furry artwork doesn't apply to you either. Hmmm...
